As preparations begin for the second Novi Sad Film Festival, news arrives from South Korea about a signed cooperation protocol between the Busan Content Market and the Novi Sad Film Festival.

Vanja Hovan, managing director of NSFF, had the great honor to open the 18th Busan Content Market, which took place at BEXCO Center from May 22 to 24, alongside Busan Deputy Mayor and Busan Content Market Director. During this event, contacts were made for future collaboration between the Novi Sad Film Festival and a major global platform for the exchange and promotion of cinema, television, and video content, which will support the festival's second edition this year.
Busan visitors had the opportunity to learn about The Game Guide project, written by Novi Sad author Mileta Poštić, who also visited Busan. Poštić is the storyboard director of ILBE Studios, the founder of the Direction for Animation and Visual Effects at the Academy of Arts Novi Sad, and this year's selector for the Novi Sad Film Festival's Cinematics selection.

Mahnwoo Kwon, the first man of BCM, who opened this big event with Hovan, visited Novi Sad during the first edition of the festival last September, when he gave a lecture in the Cultural Center of Novi Sad, presenting to the attendees the concept of this big project, which annually gathers more than 2000 customers and representatives from more than 700 companies from 50 countries around the world.

This year's BCM featured 45 exhibition pavilions with an emphasis on Eastern European, African, and Middle Eastern markets, with the goal of establishing business contacts and collaborations, providing investment opportunities, and reaching international agreements in the creative industries. Busan Content Market, which was founded in 2007 with the aim of networking on Asian soil, has spread its influence to the whole world and is responsible for the promotion of Korean contemporary culture and new media.
The new partnership will be an additional incentive for the successful realization of the Novi Sad Film Festival's second edition, which will take place this year from September 18 to 22.
