Representatives of one of the world's leading companies and the Novi Sad Film Festival signed a cooperation agreement at this year's festival edition, which will be held from September 18 to 22 at locations throughout the city.

Coca-Cola provided a prize in the amount of 10,000 euros to producers and production companies whose works competed in the Work in Progress selection. This is the main prize in this selection, which is intended for films in the production and post-production phases that need funds to complete the film project. In this way, Work in Progress opens up the possibility of completing the entire film process, which is also one of the main goals of the Novi Sad Film Festival.
For filmmakers who need financial support, the award of 10,000 euros will be a tail wind to continue their work: "Partnerships with big companies are certainly a matter of prestige; however, when you are at the very beginning, I would say they have even more importance." Both the festival itself and the film crew working on their film—everyone needs this kind of support, which will facilitate business and artistic endeavors in a practical sense. That's why I'm especially glad that Coca-Cola supported the Work in Progress selection, and I think that in this way the long-established image of a responsible company that is always one step ahead is nurtured," said the director of the festival, Vanja Hovan.
The organizers of the festival point out that they are very proud of the partnership with Coca-Cola and that this type of cooperation is a sign that NSFF, which was launched last year, is already being recognized as an event of great importance for the film industry of Novi Sad and the region.
