Debitantski film scenaristkinje i rediteljke Emilije Gašić „78 dana”, koji se našao u užem izboru Best Pitch selekcije prvog Novi Sad film festivala, prikazan je na filmskom festivalu u Roterdamu IFFR 2024.

The debut film of screenwriter and director Emilija Gašić, "78 Days," which was shortlisted for the Best Pitch selection of the first Novi Sad film festival, was screened at the Rotterdam Film Festival IFFR 2024.

Prema sinopsisu, u malom mestu u Srbiji, tri sestre beleže svoju svakodnevnicu na kućnoj kameri tokom bombardovanja 1999, a monotone dane prekida iznenadni dolazak gradske dece, mladića i devojčice u komšijsku kuću…

Za ulogu tri sestre izabrane su Milica Gicić, Tamara Gajović i Viktorija Vasiljević, njihove roditelje igraju Jelena Đokić i Goran Bogdan, a u glumačkoj ekipi je i Pavle Čemerikić. Direktorka fotografije je Ines Gowland, kostimografkinja Senka Radivojević, scenografkinja Maja Đuričić.

Projekat ovog filma podžan je na konkursu Filmskog centra Srbije za 2021. godinu.

Film je nastao u produkciji kompanije „Set Sail Films”, producenti su Andrijana Sofranić Šućur i Miloš Ivanović, a scenario i projekat filma razvijani su na radionici Biennale Cinema College festivala u Veneciji.

Emilija Gašić poznata je kao autorka kratkih filmova „An Unknown Friend”, „Vrtlog” i „Čekanje”.

The plot summarizes how three sisters in a tiny Serbian town document their routines on a home video during the 1999 bombing. The days are boring until unexpected city kids, both boys and girls, move into a neighbor's home...

Milica Gicić, Tamara Gajović, and Viktorija Vasiljević were chosen for the role of the three sisters; their parents are played by Jelena Đokić and Goran Bogdan, and Pavle Čemerikić is also in the cast. Ines Gowland is the director of photography, Maja Đuričić is the set designer, and Senka Radivojević is the costume designer.

The project for this film was submitted to the competition of the Film Center of Serbia for the year 2021.

The production company behind the movie was "Set Sail Films." The narrative and project for the film were developed at the workshop of the Venice Biennale Cinema College festival, which is produced by Miloš Ivanović and Andrijana Sofranić Šućur.

Emilija Gašić is known as the author of the short films "An Unknown Friend," "Vrtlog," and "Waiting.".
