Paul leads a quiet life between his shipyard, his wife Elise, and their daughter Mia. But during a trip out to sea, he encounters an inexplicable weather phenomenon after which he begins to shrink uncontrollably. Science can neither explain what is happening to him nor offer any help.

When he accidentally becomes trapped in his own basement, only a few centimeters tall, Paul must survive in a world that has suddenly become enormous and deadly. As he fights for survival, he must confront not only the dangers around him, but also his own fears and the greatest questions of human existence.
