After ten years living abroad, acclaimed writer Maksim Grahovac returns to his native village of Grahovo, Montenegro, to visit his brother Niko and settle matters concerning the family estate they have inherited.

However, on his way to the village, Maksim gets involved in a car accident, turning his homecoming into a nightmare. Fearing the consequences, he confides in the only person he can still trust - his brother, with whom he has almost completely lost touch. As they try to find a way out of a situation that becomes more complicated with every passing hour, the brothers are forced to confront not only the accident itself, but also old debts they have never settled.

Meanwhile, the entire village is celebrating the return of its most successful writer, while Maksim and his brother struggle to hide a truth that threatens to destroy their lives.

This thriller, blending dark humor and family drama, follows two brothers desperately trying to cover up a single mistake - only to paradoxically uncover everything that has driven them apart over the years.
