Already a well-matched tandem, the prince of modern sevdah and the Novi Sad chamber orchestra will perform on September 22 at 9 p.m. on the Large Stage of the Serbia's oldest professional theater. The magnificent concert of Božo Vrećo and the renowned orchestra Camerata Novi Sad in the Serbian National Theater will also close the second Novi Sad Film Festival, which will be held this year from September 18 to 22 throughout the city.

As music and film are inseparable artistic expressions, the second edition of the NSFF will feature a musician with significant ties to the seventh art. Božo Vrećo played a key role in the documentary Maldita: The Love Song of Sarajevo, which received the prestigious Goya Award in Spain last year. Vrećo, a multi-talented musician, wrote music in Ladin, the language of the Bosnian Sephardic people, for the film, which is signed by Raul de la Fuente and Amaia Remirez. He was also one of the main characters and the backbone of the production, which speaks of Vreča as a unique artist in this area.

In the fusion of art, different genres of music will also be combined, so that the inimitable voice of Božo Vrećo will cross paths with the excellent musicians of the Novi Sad chamber ensemble Camerata Novi Sad, known for nurturing the tradition of classical music for years, which often goes beyond its limits. Camerata is recognizable for its modern interpretation of classical music, genre experiments, and performances with renowned musicians such as Bajaga, Rambo Amadeus, Nele Karajlić, Stefan Milenković, Ksenija Janković, Simon Lamsma, and others.

Ticket sales at a promotional price for that concert start today at noon at all Gigstix outlets and online on their website.

After last year's grand closing with Damir Urban, this year's NSFF organizes another memorable evening with European-recognized musicians, and before that, it invites you to watch a unique film program of regional, European, and world cinema from September 18 to 22. Along with film premieres and screenings, the audience and filmmakers are also expecting panels, workshops, and other accompanying programs that aim to promote, encourage, educate, and connect film enthusiasts, future creators, and established professionals.
