Povezivanje filmskih produkcijskih studija, studija za animaciju i vizuelne efekte, IT stručnjaka, reditelja, scenarista, producenata, distributera, kao i čitave filmske zajednice – jedan je od primarnih ciljeva Novi Sad film festivala.

Kako nastaje savršena harmonija između umetnikove mašte i tehnološkog napretka, te kako ožive svetovi koji su bili nezamislivi – na ova pitanja daće odgovore IT stručnjaci i oni iz oblasti animacije, kao i stručnjaci za vizuelne efekte u okviru programske celine Industry, koji govori o neizostavnim delovima filmske industrije i umetnosti stvaranja filmova. Ovo će biti način da se razmene iskustva i nove prakse, odnosno da se razvije novi prostor za unapređivanje, edukaciju i umrežavanje filmskih radnika i sa njima povezanih struka.
Ovaj segment festivala donosi publici dve specijalne filmske projekcije domaćih studija za animaciju ILBE Studios (Beograd i Novi Sad) i Furuna Crafts (Novi Sad) – Prince of the Seas i Puffins Impossible, koje će biti prikazane 23. i 24. septembra u bioskopu Arena Cineplex. Nakon projekcija, publika će biti u prilici da posluša razgovor sa autorskom ekipom. Prvi dokumentarni animirani dugometražni film Prince of the Seas, koji je od početka do kraja realizovan u Novom Sadu, u produkciji lokalnih studija za animaciju ILBE Studios i Furuna Crafts uz podršku Ministarstva kulture Republike Srbije, povešće ljubitelje sedme umetnosti na putovanje kroz sećanja princa Alberta I, najvećeg reformatora Monaka, od perioda u španskoj kraljevskoj mornarici do oplovljavanja polarnih krugova. Za to vreme, otkriva se životni put ovog izvanrednog čoveka, podeljen između odgovornosti kraljevske titule i ljubavi prema morima i okeanima.
Takođe, Industry program doneće i priču o pet neobičnih superheroja – arktičkih ptica sa supermoćima i njihovim avanturama. Reč je o animiranom serijalu Puffins Impossible sa Džonijem Depom u glavnoj ulozi, u potpunosti kreiranom u Srbiji u domaćem studiju za animaciju ILBE Studios, te produciranom u Archangel Digital Studios, uz podršku Ministarstva kulture Republike Srbije, a prema originalnoj ideji osnivača ILBE grupe. U mnogim naizgled apsurdnim situacijama, kroz šalu i gegove, deca se na zabavan način upoznaju sa temama poput rodne i rasne ravnopravnosti, značaja zajedništva, poštovanja različitosti, zaštite životne sredine i drugih. Serijal je dostupan na svetskim striming platformama Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Google Play, Chilli TV i Tatatu, u više od 120 zemalja. Specijalna festivalska projekcija epizoda serijala biće prva i jedinstvena prilika da se domaća publika upozna sa projektom na kojem radi više od 300 umetnika i kreativnih stručnjaka, za milionski auditorijum širom sveta.

Novi Sad će tokom četiri dana trajanja festivala pokazati zašto važi za jedan od najvećih IT centara u Srbiji i regionu, kao i zašto su baš ovde svoje mesto pronašli neki od vodećih svetskih studija za animaciju i vizuelne efekte. Uz panel-diskusije kojima će moderirati afirmisani stručnjaci, publika će biti upućena u aktuelne teme iz sveta filma i novih tehnologija.
Uz moderatora Ivicu Milarića, stručnjaka u oblasti video-igara i digitalnih medija, na panelu Cinematics biće otvorena pitanja o međusobnom uticaju filma i gejminga. Na koji način ove dve gigantske industrije menjaju jedna drugu, te koliko je sama filmska umetnost podložna inovacijama pod uticajem novih tehnologija govoriće panelisti Aleksandar Bedov, Aleksandar Stojanović, Đorđe Marković i Miloš Platiša.
Vukašin Šoć, docent i šef studijskog programa Dizajn video-igara i scenarista u ILBE studiju, vodiće razgovor o novim vizuelnim efektima koji menjaju tokove savremenog filma sa Zoranom Jovičićem i Tamarom Simić, dok će profesor Mileta Poštić govoriti o digitalnoj eri koja je značajno menjala puteve filmskog stvaralaštva, pa i kreirala nove žanrove.
Svake godine, Novi Sad film festival predstaviće po jedan pobratimski festival lokalnoj publici i medijima. Ovoga puta, u godini kada slave svoj 70. rođendan, to će biti Pula film festival, dok će direktorka renomiranog festivala, Tanja Miličić, govoriti u okviru panela Sedamdeset godina filmskog festivala u Puli. Najstariji hrvatski filmski festival prošao je kroz brojne faze i promene tokom dugih sedam decenija, no opstao je kao jedan od simbola filmske istorije Hrvatske, regiona, pa i Evrope. Stoga, razmena iskustava sa liderima renomiranih kulturnih projekata je od velikog značaja i za sam Novi Sad film festival, ali i za informisanje publike o značajnim regionalnim i drugim festivalima.
Prvo izdanje internacionalnog Novi Sad film festivala obuhvatiće i razgovore posle projekcija filmova, pa će tako publika imati priliku da čuje i o samom nastanku filmova, kao i o procesu rada autorske ekipe.
Kroz sinergiju umetnosti i tehnologije, animacija danas ostavlja neizbrisiv pečat u svetu filma. Davanjem značaja ovakvim programima, Novi Sad film festival ne samo da prati savremene tokove, već predstavlja platformu za umetnike svih filmskih sfera koji u predstojećem, prvom izdanju NSFF-a, demonstriraju kako tehnologija može nadahnuti i obogatiti filmsku umetnost. How the perfect harmony between the artist's imagination and technological progress is created, and how worlds that used to be unimaginable come to life – these questions will be answered by IT experts and those from the field of animation, along with visual effects experts within the Industry program, which covers indispensable parts of the film industry and the art of filmmaking. The Industry program will be a way to exchange experiences and new practices and develop a new space for improvement, education, and networking of film workers and people of related professions.
This segment of the festival brings to the audience two special film screenings of local animation studios ILBE Studios (Belgrade and Novi Sad) and Furuna Crafts (Novi Sad) – Prince of the Seas and Puffins Impossible series, which will be shown on September 23 and 24 at the Arena Cineplex cinema.After the screenings, the audience will have the opportunity to listen to the conversation with the authors. The first documentary animated feature film, Prince of the Seas, which was made in Novi Sad from start to finish, produced by local animation studios ILBE Studios and Furuna Crafts with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, will take lovers of the seventh art on a journey through the memories of Prince Albert I, Monaco's greatest reformer, from his time in the Spanish Royal Navy to circumnavigating the Arctic Circle. We will see the life path of this extraordinary man during this time and his being divided between the responsibilities of the royal title and his love for the ocean.
The Industry program will also bring INDUSTRY of five unusual superheroes – arctic birds with superpowers and their adventures. The animated series Puffins Impossible series with Johnny Depp in the leading role,was entirely created in Serbia in the ILBE Studios animation studio and produced in Archangel Digital Studios, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, and based on the original idea of the Archangel Digital Studios, uz podršku Ministarstva kulture Republike Srbije, a prema originalnoj ideji osnivača ILBE Group founder. In many seemingly absurd situations, through jokes and gags, children will learn about issues such as gender and racial equality, the importance of togetherness, respect for diversity, environmental protection, and others in a fun way. The series is available on worldwide streaming platforms Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Google Play, Chilli TV and Tatatu, in more than 120 countries. The special festival screening of the series episodes will be the first and unique opportunity for the local audience to get to know the project on which more than 300 artists and creative experts have been working for an audience of millions around the world.

Over the course of four festival days, Novi Sad will showcase why it is considered one of the leading IT hubs in Serbia and the region, and why some of the world’s top animation and visual effects studios have chosen this city as their home. Through panel discussions moderated by established experts, the audience will be introduced to current topics from the worlds of film and new technologies.
With moderator Ivica Milarić, an expert in video games and digital media, the Cinematics panel will explore the intersection of film and gaming. Panelists Aleksandar Bedov, Aleksandar Stojanović, Đorđe Marković, and Miloš Platiša will discuss how these two giant industries influence each other and how film as an art form is adapting to technological innovation.
Vukašin Šoć, assistant professor and head of the Video Game Design and Screenwriting program at ILBE studio, will lead a discussion with Zoran Jovičić and Tamara Simić about new visual effects that are redefining modern cinema. Professor Mileta Poštić will speak about the digital era and how it has significantly reshaped filmmaking practices—introducing even new genres in the process.
Each year, The Novi Sad Film Festival will spotlight one "sister festival" to present to the local audience and media. This year, in celebration of its 70th anniversary, the featured festival will be Pula Film Festival. Its director, Tanja Miličić, will speak on the panel titled Seventy Years of the Pula Film Festival. As the oldest Croatian film festival, Pula has gone through many phases and transformations over the decades, yet it has remained a symbol of film history in Croatia, the region, and Europe. For The Novi Sad Film Festival, this kind of exchange with leaders of renowned cultural projects is vital for both institutional growth and public awareness of important regional and international festivals.
