Novi Sad Film Festival sinoć je započeo svoje četvrto izdanje, koje će do 13. septembra publici doneti bogat filmski i prateći program, uz gostovanja značajnih autora i umetnika iz zemlje i inostranstva.
The Novi Sad Film Festival opened its fourth edition last night, bringing audiences a rich film and accompanying programme through September 13, along with appearances by prominent filmmakers and artists from Serbia and abroad.

Ovogodišnji laureati su Boro Drašković, Silven Šome i Kajl Balda, kojima su pripala priznanja za doprinos filmskoj umetnosti, animaciji i internacionalnoj kinematografiji.
Festival je otvoren programom koji je vodila glumica Emma Gojković i projekcijom filma “The Shrinking Man”. Program se nastavlja danas, u petak, 11. septembra, brojnim projekcijama i sadržajima posvećenim filmu, animaciji i filmskoj industriji. Tokom dana publiku očekuju međunarodne takmičarske, nacionalne i revijalne selekcije, kao i programi na više festivalskih lokacija.
Subota, 12. septembar, donosi razgovor sa američkim glumcem Džonom Sevidžom u 17.30 časova u Američkom kutku. Sevidž, poznat po filmovima „Lovac na jelene“ i „Kosa“, govoriće o svojoj višedecenijskoj karijeri i životu u svetu filma. Istog dana u SKCNS počinje program animacije i gejminga Balkan Creators Festa u organizaciji Novi Sad Film Festivala i Srpskog Centra za Strip i Animaciju.
Nedelja, 13. septembar, rezervisana je za završnicu festivala. U Kulturnoj stanici Mlin publiku očekuje selekcija dečijih filmova koju je selektovao poznati dečiji pisac Uroš Petrović, dok će program doneti i sadržaje posvećene savremenoj animaciji.
Veliko finale uslediće u Srpskom narodnom pozorištu, gde će u 19.30 časova biti održan razgovor sa Kajlom Baldom, ovogodišnjim laureatom za doprinos internacionalnoj kinematografiji i rediteljem poznatih animiranih ostvarenja poput „Minions“ i „Despicable Me 3“. Nakon razgovora, u 20.15 časova, biće izvedena višestruko nagrađivana predstava „Contra Mundum“, kojom će biti zatvoreno četvrto izdanje Novi Sad Film Festivala.
Novi Sad Film festival, u organizaciji Kulturnog Centra Novog Sada, podržali su: Grad Novi Sad, Coca-Cola, Neoplanta, Converse, Hotel Pupin, Ambasada Indije, Biaff, Francuski institut, Univerzitet iz Kadiza i Ficcab - festival animiranog filma iz Benalmadene.

This year’s laureates are Boro Drašković, Sylvain Chomet and Kyle Balda, who are being recognized for their contributions to film, animation and international cinema.
The festival opened with a programme hosted by actress Emma Gojković and a screening of The Shrinking Man. The programme continues today, Friday, September 11, with numerous screenings and events dedicated to film, animation and the film industry. Throughout the day, audiences can attend international competition, national and special selections, as well as programmes taking place at several festival venues.
Saturday, September 12, will feature a conversation with American actor John Savage at 5:30 PM at the American Corner. Known for films such as The Deer Hunter and Hair, Savage will speak about his decades-long career and life in the world of film. The same day, the Balkan Creators Fest animation and gaming programme, organized by the Novi Sad Film Festival and the Serbian Center for Comics and Animation, will begin at SKCNS.
Sunday, September 13, is reserved for the festival’s closing programme. At Mlin Cultural Station, audiences will have the opportunity to see a selection of children’s films curated by renowned children’s author Uroš Petrović, alongside programmes dedicated to contemporary animation.
The grand finale will take place at the Serbian National Theatre, where a conversation with Kyle Balda, this year’s laureate for his contribution to international cinema and the director of acclaimed animated films such as Minions and Despicable Me 3, will be held at 7:30 PM. Following the conversation, at 8:15 PM, the theatre production CONTRA MUNDUM will be performed, bringing the fourth edition of the Novi Sad Film Festival to a close.
The Novi Sad Film Festival, organized by the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad, is supported by the City of Novi Sad, Coca-Cola, Neoplanta, Converse, Hotel Pupin, the Embassy of India, Biaff, the French Institute, the University of Cádiz and Ficcab – Benalmádena Animated Film Festival.
