Holivudski glumac, zvezda filmova „Lovac na jelene“ i „Kosa“ Džon Sevidž vraća se u Novi Sad i to povodom prvog internacionalnog filmskog festivala „Novi Sad film festival“ koji će obojiti kraj septembra u glavnom gradu Vojvodine.
Hollywood actor and star of the films The Deer Hunter and Hair, John Savage, is returning to Novi Sad for the first international film festival, the Novi Sad Film Festival, which will take place at the end of September in the capital of Vojvodina.
Ovaj slavni umetnik, biće počasni gost festivala, dobitnik stranog laureata za doprinos filmskoj umetnosti internacionalnoj kinematografiji, kao i predsednik žirija takmičarske selekcije Best Pitch, koja je važan deo Industry programa, i koja je dokaz da izazovi mogu lako da se prevaziđu kada se okupimo zajedno. Takođe, Sevidž će tokom svog boravka održati predavanje studentima Akademije umetnosti u Novom Sadu.
U okviru Industry programa, Novi Sad film festival raspisao je konkurs za regionalnu takmičarsku selekciju Best Pitch, posvećenu onim filmskim projektima čija je realizacija već u toku, kako bi dobili podršku za njihovo uspešno finale. Selekcija podrazumeva dugometražne igrane filmske projekte mladih reditelja iz regiona.
Pobednički filmski projekat selekcije Best Pitch dobiće nagradu u iznosu od 1.000.000 dinara.
Svi zainteresovani mogu da pošalju prijave na competition@novisadfilmfestival.local. Rok za prijavu je 17. septembar 2023. u ponoć. Partner ovogodišnje selekcije Best Pitch je Schweppes.
Publika će u okviru Novi Sad film festivala, od 21. do 24. septembra gledati internacionalne autorske filmove, filmske omaže kultnih reditelja, eko-filmove i druga filmska ostvarenja, koje nije imala priliku da vidi do sada.

The famous artist, the winner of the highest recognition of the Yugoslav Cinematheque, the Golden Seal for the contribution to the development of the film arts in 2015, will be the guest of honor of the Festival and the president of the jury of the competition selection Best Pitch. The Best Pitch selectionis an essential part of the Industry Program, and proof that challenges can be easily overcome when we gather together. During his stay, Savage will also give a lecture to the students of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
As part of the Industry Program, the Novi Sad Film Festival announced a competition for the Best Pitch regional competitive selection, dedicated to film projects whose realization is already underway so they could receive support for their successful finale. The selection includes feature-length feature film projects by young directors from the region.
The winning film project of The Best Pitch selection will receive a prize of 1,000,000 dinars.
