As ‘Observers’, they journey through different lives. Filmmaker Minjoo Won returns to her hometown, transformed by an unfamiliar atmosphere, where she encounters memories of the past that will follow her for the rest of her life.
Spy Wonjoong Lee grows close to a woman posing as a journalist, only to discover that she is another spy assigned to follow him. He then sets out on a new path.
Traveler Hana Won becomes entangled with mysterious people she meets at a hotel and finds herself unwillingly observing the lives of others. Meanwhile, Anyoung Lee, a woman who can see ghosts, seeks an intimate coexistence with the spirits that constantly follow her. Moving between different worlds, they cross the boundaries between themselves and others.
Along the way, they observe themselves as they come to inhabit more than one life.
