Film Gorana Vukčevića govori o slavnom švajcarskom kriminologu, dr Rudolfu Arčibaldu Rajsu koji je po čitavom svetu govorio o zločinima austrougarske i bugarske vojske nad srpskim civilima, o stradanju i junaštvu srpskog naroda i vojske u bitkama Velikog rata. Rajs je postao najveći prijatelj kojeg je Srbija imala, a život je završio u Beogradu, duboko razočaran u srpsku elitu. Film je prikazivan u gradovima Srbije, Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, Austrije i Slovačke. Na Novi Sad film festivalu, film će biti prikazan na 110. godišnjicu dolaska Arčibalda Rajsa u Srbiju te na 150. godišnjicu njegovog rođenja.
The film by Goran Vukčević tells the story of the famous Swiss criminologist Dr. Rudolf Archibald Reiss, who traveled the world speaking about the crimes committed by the Austro-Hungarian and Bulgarian armies against Serbian civilians, as well as the suffering and heroism of the Serbian people and army during the Great War. Reiss became the greatest friend Serbia ever had, and he spent the rest of his life in Belgrade, deeply disappointed in the Serbian elite.
The film has been screened in cities across Serbia, the United States, Austria, and Slovakia. At the Novi Sad Film Festival, it will be shown to mark the 110th anniversary of Archibald Reiss’s arrival in Serbia and the 150th anniversary of his birth.
