Work in Progress
Novi Sad film festival (NSFF) ovim putem obaveštava učesnike selekcije Work in Progress o načinu popunjavanja prijave, dokumentaciji koju je potrebno priložiti i kriterijumima po kojima će prijavljeni filmski projekti biti uključeni u selekciju.
The Novi Sad Film Festival (NSFF) hereby instructs the participants of the Work in Progress Competition on how to fill out the application, which competition ocumentation to attach to the competition application and how the submitted film projects will be included in the selection.
Prijavljeni projekat treba da bude igrani film namenjen bioskopskoj distribuciji (minimalno trajanje 60 minuta).
Projekat mora da ima obezbeđeno makar nacionalno (razvojno) finansiranje ili investiciju trećeg lica u trenutku prijave.
Projekat treba da bude potencijalno pripremljen za plasman na međunarodnom tržištu.
Pobednik selekcije Work in Progress potpisuje ugovor sa NSFF-om, kojim potvrđuje istinitost podataka iz prijave i obavezuje se da poštuje pravila festivala.
Selekciju projekata vrši selekciona komisija sastavljena od filmskih profesionalaca.
Odluke selekcione komisije su konačne i nisu podložne žalbi.
Submitted project-the feature film is intended for theatrical release (minimum length of 60 minutes).
The project should have at least national (development) funding or third-party investment secured when submitting the project.
The project should be potentially prepared for the international market.
The winner of the Work in progress selection signs a contract with the NSFF, according to which he is responsible for the truthfulness of the data in the application and respects the regulations of the NSFF.
The projects will be selected by the selection committee composed of film industry professionals.
The selection committee’s decisions cannot be appealed.
Projekti će biti predstavljeni od strane dva člana tima – reditelja i producenta.
NSFF Work in Progress bira do 5 igranih filmova u fazi razvoja.
Tokom pripremnog perioda Prep Your Pitch, predstavnici odabranih projekata učestvuju u jednodnevnom pripremnom programu. Pitch (prezentacija) će se održati narednog dana, a svaki tim ima do 7 minuta za predstavljanje svog filma.
The projects will be pitched by the team of two representatives director and producer.
NSFF Work in progress selects up to 5 feature fiction projects in development.
During the preparation period Prep Your Pitch, selected project representatives will take part in an one-day-prep program. Pitch will take place on the following day and each team will have up to 7 minutes to present their film project.
Međunarodni žiri sastavljen od filmskih profesionalaca glasaće tokom pitching-a.
Odabrani projekti takmiče se za:
- NSFF Best Pitch Award – novčana nagrada u iznosu od 10.000 evra (bruto) namenjena za razvoj jednog projekta iz selekcije Work in Progress.
Pobednički projekat se obavezuje da u završnoj špici filma istakne logo Novi Sad film festivala.
The international jury of film industry professionals will vote for the awards during the pitching session.
Selected projects will compete for the:
- NSFF Best Pitch Award: Cash prize of 10.000 euros (gross) towards development of one NSFF Work in progress project.
The winning project of the Work in Progress selection undertakes to highlight the logo of the Novi Sad Film Festival in the final credits of the film.
Prijave su otvorene za igrane filmove koji su u fazi produkcije.
Projekti mogu biti iz bilo kog dela sveta.
Submissions are open for feature fiction film projects, wich are in the process of production.
The project can be from any part of the world.
Krajnji rok za prijavu projekata je 10. septembar 2025. godine (do ponoći po GMT-u). Prijave se podnose putem zvaničnog formulara za prijavu.
Prijava mora sadržati sve informacije i dokumenta navedena u formularu.
Slanjem prijave, podnosilac se slaže sa pravilima učešća NSFF Work in Progress selekcije.
Odluka selekcione komisije biće objavljena najkasnije do 14. septembra 2025. godine (do ponoći po GMT-u).
The deadline for submitting projects is Sepembar 10th 2025 (midnight GMT). Projects must be submitted by using the Application form.
The applications must include full information and documents requested within the application form.
By applying to NSFF Work in progress, applicants agree to NSFF Work in progress regulations.
Information about the decision of the selection committee will be announced until September 14th 2025 (midnight GMT).
Ako projekat bude odabran, NSFF će pozvati dva člana tima (reditelja i producenta) da javno predstave projekat tokom Work in Progress programa. Njihovo prisustvo i učešće tokom cele manifestacije je obavezno.
NSFF obezbeđuje smeštaj (jedna soba sa dva kreveta) za dva člana tima tokom trajanja događaja.
Takođe, učesnici se slažu da se njihovi kontakt podaci, navedeni u prijavi, mogu objaviti u katalogu, vodiču za učesnike i na zvaničnom sajtu NSFF Work in Progress.
Pobednički projekat obavezan je da istakne logo NSFF-a u završnoj špici filma.

If a project is selected NSFF will invite two members of the team (director and producer) to publicly present the project during the NSFF Work in Progress. It is obligatory for the selected project representatives to take part in the preparation and to be available during the
whole event.
NSFF Work in Progress offers accommodation (one room with two beds) for two members of the team for the duration of the market.
In addition, applicants agree that their contact data as provided in the submission form will be published in the catalogue, participants guide and on the NSFF Work in progress web site.
The winning project of the NSFF Work in Progress selection is obliged to mention NSFF by display its logo in their final credits.
