Nikola Spasić je nagrađivani srpski filmski reditelj, montažer i producent, i selektor glavne takmičarske selekcije drugog Novi Sad film festivala.
Diplomirao je režiju na Akademiji umetnosti u Novom Sadu, masterirao montažu na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti u Beogradu, a trenutno je na završnoj godini doktorskih studija iz oblasti dramskih umetnosti na Akademiji umetnosti u Novom Sadu. Docent je na Računarskom fakultetu u Beogradu, na katedri za multimedijalni dizajn.
Njegov dugometražni film „Kristina” (2022) prikazan je na brojnim filmskim festivalima širom sveta i osvojio je brojne nagrade ulljučujući nagradu za najbolji prvi film na festivalu FIDMarseille, nagradu za najboljeg reditelja u usponu na Festivalu evropskog filma u Sevilji, nagradu za najboljeg reditelja na Martovskom festivalu, specijalno priznanje mladog žirija na Muestra de Cinema de Lanzarote i dve nagrade, za najbolji domaći i najbolji strani film na festivalu Merlinka u Beogradu. Film je prikazivan na brojnim evropskim VOD platformama poput Universcine, Sooner, FilmIn, LMC, Pickbox.
Nikolin dokumentarni film, „Zašto je Dragan napravio orkestar” (2017) osvojio je nekoliko nagrada uključujući glavnu nagradu i nagradu publike na festivalu Cinema City i prikazan je na značajnim televizijama u regionu poput RTS, RTRS, RTVFBIH, HRT, Al Jazeera Balkans, Film Klub i Klasik TV.
Od 2013. jedan je od osnivača produkcijske kuće REZON iz Novog Sada, putem koje razvija svoje projekte i učestvuje u razvoju projekata drugih autora. Autor je i producent nekoliko kratkometražnih filmova, pozorišnih predstava i radio drama.
Član je dokumentarista DokSrbija i Asocijacije reditelja.

Nikola Spasić is an award-winning Serbian film director, editor, and producer, as well as the selector of the Main Competition at the Novi Sad Film Festival.
He graduated in film directing from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, earned a master’s degree in editing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, and is currently in the final year of his doctoral studies in dramatic arts at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. He is an assistant professor at the School of Computing in Belgrade, at the Department of Multimedia Design.
His feature film Kristina (2022) has been screened at numerous film festivals around the world and has received multiple awards, including the Best First Film Award at FIDMarseille, the Best Emerging Director Award at the Seville European Film Festival, the Best Director Award at the March Festival in Belgrade, a Special Mention from the Youth Jury at Muestra de Cine de Lanzarote, as well as two awards—Best National and Best International Film—at the Merlinka Festival in Belgrade. The film has been distributed across various European VOD platforms such as UniversCiné, Sooner, FilmIn, LMC, and Pickbox.
His documentary Why Dragan Made an Orchestra (2017) also received several awards, including the Grand Prix and the Audience Award at the Cinema City Festival, and was broadcast on prominent regional TV networks such as RTS, RTRS, RTVFBiH, HRT, Al Jazeera Balkans, Film Klub, and Klasik TV.
Since 2013, he has been one of the co-founders of REZON, a production company based in Novi Sad, through which he develops his own projects and collaborates on the development of works by other filmmakers. He is also the author and producer of several short films, theater plays, and radio dramas.
Nikola is a member of the documentary filmmakers’ association DokSerbia and the Directors’ Association of Serbia.
