Simbol domaće kinematografije i ovogodišnji laureat za doprinos nacionalnoj kinematografiji Novi Sad film festivala je glumica Mirjana Mira Banjac.
Mira pripada prvoj generaciji glumaca koji su završili Državnu glumačku školu u Novom Sadu 1950. godine. Od sredine 60-ih, iako još uvek aktivna u pozorištu, Mira okrenula se filmu i televiziji i od tada do danas, nižu se njene legendarne uloge, kao što su one u filmovima Čuvar plaže u zimskom periodu, Sjećaš li se Doli Bel, Varljivo leto ’68, Balkanski špijun, Majstori, majstori i brojne druge.
Tokom karijere duge više od sedam decenija, Mira Banjac je osvojila najveće nagrade i priznanja. Nagradu je u njeno ime primio unuk Srđan Apić.

Mira was part of the first generation of actors who graduated from the State Acting School in Novi Sad in 1950. Since the mid-1960s, although still active in theatre, she turned to film and television, and from then on, her legendary roles followed—such as those in The Beach Guard in Winter, Do You Remember Dolly Bell?, The Elusive Summer of ’68, Balkan Spy, All That Jack, and many others.Over the course of a career spanning more than seven decades, Mira Banjac has received the highest awards and recognitions.The award was accepted on her behalf by her grandson, Srđan Apić.
