Milan Todorović je srpski filmski reditelj, producent i scenarista, najpoznatiji kao reditelj američkih TV serija poput The Outpost, The Ark i Almost Paradise, kao i reditelj svetski distribuiranih igranih filmova Zone of the Dead (2009) i Killer Mermaid (2014).
Diplomirao je na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti u Beogradu 2006. godine. Od 2005. godine je direktor produkcijske kuće Talking Wolf Productions. Godine 2009. napisao je, producirao i korežirao igrani horor film Zone of the Dead, u kojem glumi legenda žanra zombi filmova Ken Foree , za koji je nagrađen kao najbolji producent godine na ceremoniji Producers’ Day koju je organizovao Fakultet dramskih umetnosti u Beogradu.
Režirao je horor film Killer Mermaid (2014), u kojem glumi legendarni Franco Nero. Producirao je naučno-fantastični igrani film The Rift: Dark Side of the Moon (2016) u kojem glume Ken Foree i Monte Markham. Režirao je deo međunarodne filmske antologije Deathcember (2019), koja je osvojila mnoge međunarodne nagrade. Svi njegovi filmovi imali su svetsku distribuciju.
Jedan je od glavnih reditelja američke TV serije The Outpost za koju je režirao ukupno 10 epizoda u sezonama 2, 3 i 4 (uključujući dva finala sezona i jednu premijeru sezone) za mrežu The CW, koju proizvodi poznati Dean Devlin. Takođe je režirao jednu epizodu tropske akcione TV serije Almost Paradise za WGN America. Najnovije, režirao je 6 epizoda svemirske serije SYFY The Ark, koja je 2023. godine nominovana za prestižnu Saturnovu nagradu u kategoriji Najbolja nova žanrovska emisija. Trenutno režira američku TV seriju The Librarians: The Next Chapter, reboot popularne emisije.
Lokalno je režirao drugu sezonu najcenjenije srpske serije, kriminalističke drame Besa, kao i celu četvrtu sezonu mističnog trilera Dug moru. Godine 2021. koproducirao je dva horor igrana filma The Quantum Devil i Slaughterhouse, oba uspešno objavljena 2023. godine.
Dobio je nekoliko nagrada, uključujući Nagradu za međunarodni doprinos razvoju žanra koju je dodelio DROP festival u Moskvi (2017). Od 2015. godine je vanredni profesor na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti u Beogradu.
Milan Todorović is a Serbian film director, producer, and screenwriter, best known for directing American TV series such as The Outpost, The Ark, and Almost Paradise, as well as internationally distributed feature films Zone of the Dead (2009) and Killer Mermaid (2014).
He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 2006 and has been the head of Talking Wolf Productions since 2005. In 2009, he co-wrote, produced, and co-directed the zombie horror film Zone of the Dead, starring genre legend Ken Foree. For his work on the film, he was named Producer of the Year by the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade during its annual Producers’ Day ceremony.
He directed the horror film Killer Mermaid (2014), featuring the iconic Franco Nero, and produced the sci-fi feature The Rift: Dark Side of the Moon (2016), starring Ken Foree and Monte Markham. He also directed a segment of the international horror anthology Deathcember (2019), which received numerous international awards. All of his films have been distributed worldwide.
Todorović served as one of the lead directors of the American TV series The Outpost, directing 10 episodes across seasons 2, 3, and 4 (including two season finales and one season premiere) for The CW network, produced by Dean Devlin. He also directed an episode of the tropical action series Almost Paradise for WGN America. Most recently, he directed six episodes of SYFY’s space drama The Ark, which was nominated for a prestigious Saturn Award in 2023 for Best New Genre Series. He is currently directing The Librarians: The Next Chapter, a reboot of the popular franchise.
In Serbia, he directed the second season of the acclaimed crime drama Besa, as well as the entire fourth season of the mystical thriller Dug moru. In 2021, he co-produced two horror features, The Quantum Devil and Slaughterhouse, both successfully released in 2023.
He has received several awards, including the International Contribution to the Genre Award presented by the DROP Festival in Moscow (2017). Since 2015, he has served as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
