Biography
Haime Kristijan Nogera Martin rođen je u Geteborgu (Švedska) 1977. godine. Studirao je turizam, audiovizuelne komunikacije, menadžment kulturnih projekata i filmsku kritiku u Malagi, kao i autorski dokumentarni film u Barseloni. Usavršavao se i u oblastima upravljanja društvenim mrežama, otvorenih podataka (Open Data) i gerilskog marketinga.
Od 1998. godine je direktor Međunarodnog filmskog festivala u Benalmadeni (FICCAB).
Autor je knjiga filmskih eseja Vampires: Blood Is Life (2002), Dictators in Cinema (2007) i Hitler in Cinema (2014). Učestvovao je i u kolektivnim izdanjima On German Cinema: From Weimar to the Fall of the Wall (2006), The Mark of the Vampire (2006) i The Mark of the Mummy (2007), kao i u romanu Spain: Zombie War (2014) i zborniku History for Misfits (2021). Njegovi tekstovi o kulturi i istoriji, objavljivani u različitim medijima, prevedeni su na dvanaest jezika.
Kao glumac pojavljivao se u igranim filmovima Torente 2: Misija u Marbelji (2000), Karate a Muerte en Torremolinos (2003) i They Stole Hitler’s Willy (2006), kao i u televizijskim serijama poput La que se avecina. Pojavio se i u dokumentarnom filmu RTVE-a Chiquito, el cantaor de atrás (2018) i filmu Buscando a Lehmberg (2023).
Zajedno sa Hoseom Ramonom Martinezom, sa kojim od kraja prošlog veka organizuje i vodi Međunarodni filmski festival u Benalmadeni (FICCAB), pokrenuo je veb-sajt Andalucía en Corto, koji je 2010. godine dobio nagradu ASECAN za promociju andaluzijske kinematografije, a iste godine bio je i finalist druge dodele nagrada SUR.es u kategoriji najboljeg veb-sajta za zabavu i sport.
Režirao je i napisao scenario za više kratkih filmova, među kojima su 1951, Capitán España, Cuidado con la Luna, Sincro i Osito, kao i dokumentarne filmove The German Bridge i The Longest War, koji su osvojili brojne nagrade i priznanja. Povremeno je sarađivao i sa različitim blogovima - bio je jedan od glavnih autora legendarnog bloga Strambotic - kao i sa televizijskim emisijama i podkastima različitih formata.
Bio je član žirija na Mediteranskom filmskom festivalu u Aleksandriji (Egipat), Međunarodnom filmskom festivalu u Kartaheni (Kolumbija), Međunarodnom festivalu niskobudžetnog filma u Gibari (Kuba), Međunarodnom filmskom festivalu u Sofiji (Bugarska), Ibero-američkom filmskom festivalu u Martilu (Maroko), Festivalu Evroazijski most u Jalti (Rusija), Međunarodnom filmskom festivalu o ljudskim pravima u Sukreu (Bolivija), Međunarodnom filmskom festivalu „Ljubav je ludost“ u Varni (Bugarska), Mediteranskom filmskom festivalu u Batrunu (Liban), Međunarodnom filmskom festivalu u Pastu (Kolumbija), Rencontres du Film Court (Madagaskar), Međunarodnom festivalu filma i zajedničkog sećanja u Nadoru (Maroko), Međunarodnom festivalu debitantskog filma „Duh vatre“ (Rusija), Međunarodnom filmskom festivalu novog evropskog filma „Golden Linden“ u Staroj Zagori (Bugarska), Festivalu novog andaluzijskog filma u Kasaresu (Malaga), Takmičenju kratkog filma „Rodando por Jaén“, Međunarodnom festivalu socijalnog filma (Toledo), Filmskom festivalu u Saragosi i takmičenju Málaga Crea.
Na pojedinim od ovih festivala predstavljao je selekcije kratkih filmova iz Malage ili Andaluzije, španske dugometražne filmove, kao i selekcije festivala FICCAB.
Za svoj rad na čelu festivala FICCAB dobio je nagrade Filmskog festivala u Salernu (Italija) i festivala Cortobén (Benagalbon). Član je ASECAN-a (Udruženje filmskih kritičara Andaluzije), DAMA-e (organizacija za zaštitu prava audiovizuelnih autora), AISGE-a (Društvo za upravljanje pravima izvođača) i Andaluzijske filmske akademije.

Jaime Cristian Noguera Martín was born in Gothenburg (Sweden) in 1977, studied tourism, audiovisual communication, cultural project management, and film criticism in Málaga, as well as auteur documentary filmmaking in Barcelona. He has also trained in social media management, Open Data, and guerrilla marketing.
He has been the director of the Benalmádena International Film Festival (FICCAB) since 1998.
Is the author of the film essay books Vampires: Blood Is Life (2002), Dictators in Cinema (2007), and Hitler in Cinema (2014). He has also contributed to collective volumes such as On German Cinema: From Weimar to the Fall of the Wall (2006), The Mark of the Vampire (2006), and The Mark of the Mummy (2007), as well as the novel Spain: Zombie War (2014) and the anthology History for Misfits (2021). His articles on culture and history in various media outlets have been translated into twelve languages.
He has also acted in feature films such as Torrente 2: Mission Marbella (2000), Karate a Muerte en Torremolinos (2003), and They Stole Hitler’s Willy (2006), as well as in TV series like La que se avecina. He also appeared in the RTVE documentary Chiquito, el cantaor de atrás (2018) and in Buscando a Lehmberg (2023).
Together with José Ramón Martínez, with whom he has organized and directed the Benalmádena International Film Festival (FICCAB) since the end of the last century, he created the website Andalucía en Corto, which received the ASECAN Award for the promotion of Andalusian cinema in 2010 and was also a finalist that same year in the II SUR.es Awards in the category of Best Entertainment and Sports Website.
He is the director and screenwriter of several short films (1951, Capitán España, Cuidado con la Luna, Sincro, Osito, among others) and documentaries (The German Bridge, The Longest War), which have received various awards and recognitions. As might be expected, he has also committed occasional collaborations with blogs (he was one of the main contributors to the legendary Strambotic), television programs, and podcasts of all kinds.
He has served as a jury member at the Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival (Egypt), the Cartagena International Film Festival (Colombia), the Gibara International Low-Budget Film Festival (Cuba), the Sofia International Film Festival (Bulgaria), the Ibero-American Film Festival of Martil (Morocco), the Eurasian Bridge Festival in Yalta (Russia), the Sucre International Human Rights Film Festival (Bolivia), the “Love Is Folly” International Film Festival in Varna (Bulgaria), the Batroun Mediterranean Film Festival (Lebanon), the Pasto International Film Festival (Colombia), the Rencontres du Film Court (Madagascar), the Nador International Film and Common Memory Festival (Morocco), the “Spirit of Fire” International Debut Film Festival (Russia), the “Golden Linden” International Film Festival for New European Cinema in Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), the New Andalusian Cinema Festival of Casares (Málaga), the “Rodando por Jaén” Short Film Competition, the International Social Film Festival (Toledo), the Zaragoza Film Festival, and the Málaga Crea competition. At some of these festivals, he has presented showcases of short films from Málaga or Andalusia, Spanish feature films, or selections from FICCAB.
He has received awards from the Salerno Film Festival (Italy) and Cortobén (Benagalbón) for his work leading FICCAB. He is a member of ASECAN (Andalusian Film Critics Association), DAMA (Audiovisual Authors’ Rights), AISGE (Performers’ Rights Management Society), and the Andalusian Film Academy.
