Dejan Dabić je filmski urednik, selektor i autor sa bogatim višedecenijskim iskustvom u oblasti filmske kulture. Od 1990-ih godina jedan je od ključnih organizatora Festivala glumačkih ostvarenja igranog filma – Filmski susreti u Nišu, gde uređuje programe, vodi konferencije i uređuje festivalske kataloge.
Autor je i voditelj emisije Skupljač filmova na kanalu Film klub, a ranije je uređivao emisije na NTV Niš i Radio Mariji. Objavljivao je filmske kritike u brojnim časopisima i listovima, uključujući NIN, Narodne novine i Filaž, čiji je i suosnivač.
Režirao je više kratkih animiranih filmova, dokumentarce i dokumentarno-igrane filmove, nagrađivane na festivalima u zemlji i inostranstvu. Dobitnik je Plakete Jugoslovenske kinoteke i nagrade „Tori Janković“ za doprinos decentralizaciji kinematografije.
Trenutno je umetnički direktor Martovskog festivala u Beogradu, kreativni producent festivala FEDIS i selektor Somborskog filmskog festivala.
Dejan Dabić is a film editor, selector, and author with decades of experience in film culture. Since the 1990s, he has been one of the key organizers of the Niš Film Encounters, a festival dedicated to acting achievements in Serbian cinema, where he curates programs, moderates press conferences, and edits festival catalogs.
He is the author and host of the show The Film Collector on the Film Klub channel, and previously edited film programs on NTV Niš and Radio Maria. His film criticism has been published in NIN, Narodne novine, and Filaž, a film journal he co-founded.
As a director and screenwriter, he has created numerous award-winning animated shorts and documentaries. His works have been recognized both nationally and internationally. He is a recipient of the Yugoslav Film Archive Plaque and the "Tori Janković" Award for contributions to the decentralization of Serbian cinema.
Currently, he serves as the Artistic Director of the Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival (Martovski Festival), Creative Producer of FEDIS – the International Festival of Drama and Series in Belgrade, and Selector of the Sombor Film Festival.
