Mitsuki je priča o tinejdžerki koja piše roman, zaljubljena je u drugaricu iz odeljenja i pronašla je utočište koje pripada samo njoj: muzika.
U filmu Sekai srećemo Aki, koja je nesrećna u školi i zbog toga se povlači u svoje knjige, dok se Jumi, mlada žena, bori sa svojim snovima baveći se muzikom. Obe pronalaze utehu u noći. Film Sekai bio je nominovan na Japan Asia film festivalu u selekciji Japan Cuts Award.
Na ovaj način objedinjen, film je premijerno prikazan na festivalu Bildrauch (Ludilo slike) u švajcarskom gradu Bazelu. Prikazivanje na Novi Sad film festivalu je drugo prikazivanje ovog filma i ujedno regionalna premijera.
Dok je odrastala, Marina je bila introvertna i nije mogla da se poveže sa svojom braćom i sestrama, ili drugovima iz odeljenja. Utočište od usamljenosti pronašla je u bioskopima i, konačno, na studijama na filmskoj akademiji. Svi njeni filmovi su autobiografski.
Ukupno trajanje oba filma je 66 minuta, a Marina Cukada potpisuje scenario i režiju.
Mitsuki is the story of a teenage girl who is writing a novel, is in love with a classmate, and has found a refuge that belongs only to her: music.In the film Sekai, we meet Aki, who is unhappy at school and therefore withdraws into her books, while Yumi, a young woman, struggles with her dreams by pursuing music. Both find comfort in the night.
Sekai was nominated at the Japan Asia Film Festival in the Japan Cuts Award selection.Presented together in this format, the film premiered at the Bildrausch Film Festival (Delirium of Images) in Basel, Switzerland. The screening at the Novi Sad Film Festival is its second showing and also the regional premiere.
While growing up, Marina was introverted and unable to connect with her siblings or classmates. She found solace from loneliness in movie theaters and, ultimately, during her studies at film school. All her films are autobiographical.
The total duration of both films is 66 minutes, and Marina Tsukada is credited as the screenwriter and director.
