Siniša Bokan is the dean of the Novi Sad Academy of Arts and the president of the jury of the regional competition selection of short student films.
He completed his film editing studies at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. He started his professional career at Television Novi Sad. Since 1998 he has been working at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
Bokan is primarily active in film and TV editing and production, and he has been involved in organizational processes, managing different units of the collective (Head of Department, Vice Dean).
Through community service, Bokan participates in the activities of the Association of University Teachers and Scientists of Vojvodina, the Academic Cultural and Art Society of the University of Novi Sad “Sonja Marinković”, and the rowing club “Danubius 1885”.
He is the President of the Management Board of the “Melanija Bugarinović and Daughter Mirjana Kalinović-Kalin Fund for the Advancement of Youth Vocal Arts” in Novi Sad. He participates in the organization and implementation of meetings organized by Matica Srpska and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts Branch.
