Igor Aleksov

North Macedonia

Igor Aleksov is a film director based in Skopje, North Macedonia, born on 12 November 1980.

He holds a Master's degree in film and TV directing from the National Academy for Theater and Film Arts (NATFA) Krastyo Sarafov in Sofia, Bulgaria. With a career spanning eighteen years, Igor has actively contributed to the film industry in North Macedonia, working as both a director and assistant director on numerous short and feature film projects. One of his short films, Bit Player, has won 5 international awards. His debut film, Lena and Vladimir, was released in 2023. Currently, he is in pre-production with his second feature, Bare Hill.
